Portable Surface Roughness Tester
The Mitutoyo SJ410 is a flexible portable surface roughness tester that helps us to easily and accurately measure the finish of a wide variety of surfaces.
This handy piece of kit requires no mains power and includes 46 roughness parameters that conform to ISO, DIN, ANSI, and JIS standards.
At our Hampshire precision engineering workshop, we use this machine to make sure that our finished precision components adhere to required standards: we know how important quality and precision is when our clients need components with the finest possible finish.
Featuring a skidless system, the detector allows us to measure the primary profile (P), roughness profile (R), waviness profile (W) and can compensate for curved, radial and tilted surfaces.
