Multi Axis

We offer simultaneous machining solutions for high dimensional accuracy and improved surface finish using 2-axis, 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis, all the way up to and including 9-axis machining centres.

We make complex parts quickly and accurately thanks to our sophisticated CADCAM software and shorter tools, leading to reduced lead times.

We can apply both 3+2 positional and 5-axis simultaneous machining strategies using Autodesk software and Hermle, Okuma and Mazak machine equipment.

Various CAD model formats, including Parasolid, IGES, STEP, DWG, and DXF, can be used to import component CAD models. From 2D data, we may also generate 3D models.

Positional 5-axis machining has several advantages:

• Ideal for machining deep cores and cavities
• Short cutters give increased precision and higher quality surface finish
• Allows the machining of undercuts
• Significant time savings are achieved by using a single setup
